LEED Gold Targeted Project: Sabri Özel Effect

Sabri Özel Effect, a prestigious residential, office, and business center project by Sabri Özel Group, has been designed with high-performance energy and water efficiency in mind from the concept design stage. The project is being developed with the goal of achieving LEED® – USGBC NC Gold certification and, upon completion, will be Ankara's first LEED Gold-targeted mixed-use building.

LEED certification is the most preferred environmentally friendly building certification worldwide and in Turkey. In the certification evaluation process:
● Sustainable land use
● Water efficiency
● Indoor quality
● Innovation
● Location and transportation criteria are of great importance. Based on the scoring system, projects are certified at Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels.

Environmental Technologies and Wastewater Treatment

Sabri Özel Group has adopted environmental technologies as a strategic area of ​​activity and has undertaken significant projects in this field with its strong expertise.

● It has undertaken the construction, maintenance, and operation of wastewater treatment plants in many cities, primarily Istanbul and Antalya.

● It has become the builder and operator of Turkey's leading and largest wastewater treatment plants.

● In order to protect the natural balance of the Marmara Sea and the Bosphorus, it has undertaken the operation of facilities that purify 3 million m³ of water every day in world-class facilities for a period of 10 years.

● It has provided Istanbul with six large wastewater treatment plants with a capacity equivalent to approximately 3 million people.

● In its facilities in Bursa, it treats 500,000 m³ of water daily and disposes of 400 tons of sewage sludge.

It researches and implements methods that will yield the highest efficiency for a livable world and clean seas.

Contributions in the Field of Education

Strengthening education, a fundamental element of social development, is one of Sabri Özel Group's priority social responsibility areas.

● It has completed the construction of nearly 100 schools throughout Türkiye, especially in Anatolia.

● Opened in 2015, Mardin State Hospital was built with a smart building concept and equipped with modern medical facilities.

● Construction of Siirt State Hospital, which began in 2011, was completed and put into service in 2014.
